UXstorm Application Creator

Overview

This UXstorm Application creator is required for UXsheet Application to Publish to Local Application. Because it’s creating the Scoped/Global Application, it must be in the Global Scope. It is bundled as an Application and sets up several utilities that UXstorm can then use to create new scoped apps or applications in global (if your instance is configured for that) on your instance.

Installation

The Application creator should only be installed on your organization’s development instances.

• Install update set
• In order to publish an application, you will need to have admin role

Creating an application

• Open the application you wish to create in UXsheets
• In the designer tab of the toolbar click publish
• To view what will be created in ServiceNow view the Application Summary and Sheet Summary. Both can be exported to excel for later use

• Check the Create Local Scoped Application option and click Publish
• The application creation process will begin, and the creation will be logged in the creation log. Any errors that occur will be available here
